VIP Beach Masters

With the spectacular matches beach volley players and fantastic program for the visitors at Ada, the first tournament of this year’s series Vip Beach Masters, in organization of Vip mobile and Volleyball federation of Serbia, was finished today.

The winners of tournament in Belgrade are teams Milutin Ivankovic and Bojan Mladenovic in male, and Natasa Borki and Tatjana Burmazovic in female competition, who won the cups and the prize of EUR 1.800 for male, and EUR 1.300 for winning female teams. Best eight teams in both competitions were presented with valuable prizes out of the prize pull of EUR 11.500 in total.

Visitors were cheering for our players during all three days of tournament in the great atmosphere and fantastic ambient of the stadium at Ada, and the organizers have presented excellent line-up for the audience: attractive beach dancers’ performance, DJ support and variety of prize-winning games. Numerous spectators from exclusive VIP area cheered as well, including famous sport fans, media representatives and public figures like fashion designer Slavna Martinovic and stylist Asok Murti.

Vip mobile and Volleyball federation of Serbia announced today the launch of this year’s Vip Beach Masters tournament, professional Serbian championship in beach volleyball, which will be organized in three cities, during summer. The first in a series is tournament in Belgrade, which will be held at Ada Ciganlija lake, from June 19th – 21st, followed by competitions in August in Nis (7.-9.) and Novi Sad (28.-30.) where Finals of the National championship in beach volleyball will be held. During the tournaments, 16 male and 8 female teams that qualified for the competition will struggle for the title of Serbian Champion in beach volleyball.

This year, Serbia became important point at the European volleyball map, applying for the organization of one of the six official Satellite European tournaments, under the patronage of CEV (European Volleyball Confederation). Considering our application, CEV decided to entrust us with the organization of even more important European competition – CEV Challenger. Thus, from July 16th-19th, Novi Sad will be a host of this prestigious European tournament, which brings together best beach volley players in Europe. It is also possible that some of the best world’s player participate as well, thanks to 4 Wild cards offered by organizer. Points obtained at CEV Challenger tournament count in the ranking of European Volleyball Confederation and the World Volleyball Federation.
