"Each year we try to bring some of the biggest names in beach volleyball. Extremely strong competition and attractive matches that took place this season at the Strand beach are proof that this is one of the most prestigious tournaments in Europe. Unfortunately, national teams didn’t make it to the finals of the tournament, due to lack of luck, as well as injuries, but we are confident that, with continued efforts and investments in this sport, we will see some of our teams on the podium of such an important competition in the near future," says Aleksandar Boricic, President of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia.

"With the aim of popularizing this attractive sport in our country, in year 2008 we organized the first competition in beach volleyball, together with the Volleyball Federation of Serbia. Over the years, this sport has developed in Serbia, due to which we now have one of the best organized European tournaments," adds Dejan Kastelic, Director / CTO at Vip mobile.
